Are you ready for a transformed travel experience? All Aboard Florida's Brightline is an under-construction passenger rail service that will connect Miami and Orlando. All Aboard Florida offers a fast, safe, relaxing transportation option for those weary of navigating interstate traffic or waiting hours at the airport.

West Palm Beach’s New Station

The West Palm Beach station gets travelers and commuters into the city and Palm Beach County faster and more comfortably than ever. Standing at the historic center of a project that is furthering Henry Flagler’s vision for Florida and taking another step toward bringing express passenger rail back to the state.

The Downtown West Palm Beach station will be located between S. Rosemary and S. Quadrille, east and west and between Datura Street and Evernia Street, north and south. Planned and designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP (SOM) in association with Zyscovich Architects, this new station will:

  • Connect with the neighborhood’s existing vehicular, trolley, and pedestrian networks and establish links to the Tri-Rail and Amtrak West Palm Beach Station, creating a new transportation hub for the West Palm Beach area.
  • Give travelers access to downtown West Palm Beach, as well as beaches, shopping, wildlife sanctuaries, boat tours, botanical gardens, museums and more.
  • Consist of a nearly 60,000 square foot future station and platform in downtown West Palm Beach located between Datura and Evernia Streets, with CityPlace and the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts Center to the South, and the government center district and Clematis Street to the North.
  • Create more than $164 million in economic impact for Palm Beach County through 2021 and more than 1,200 jobs in Palm Beach County through the construction of the station and rail line.

The Downtown West Palm Beach station will be located between S. Rosemary and S. Quadrille, east and west and between Datura Street and Evernia Street, north and south.

Skidmore, Owings and Merrill (SOM) worked in association with Zyscovich Architects to design new stations for Fort Lauderdale and Miami Moss & Associates is serving as general contractor in West Palm Beach and Fort Lauderdale, and Suffolk Construction is serving the same role in Miami.

The new Orlando station will be part of a larger Inter-modal Transportation Center planned for Orlando International Airport. Once complete, this passenger rail route will provide travelers with an advanced railway experience and a modern station to serve each destination.

In the meantime, All Aboard Florida will continue with improvements to the Florida East Coast Railway track and new construction of a track parallel to State Road 528 between Cocoa and Orlando. Once completed, these newly improved and constructed tracks will allow All Aboard Florida's Brightline to provide passengers with one of the most advanced rail experiences in the nation.
